Been there, done that and without a tandem trailer.

And 2.6 feet? Zook, you call that shallow? I've been hitting 1 ft. When you are waking a spinnerbait and causing a mudtrail with it, you know you are fishing skinny.

Skinny is when you're stuck in the mud and the tide is still going out!

Mr.Zook,
Thats where I was catching them over the weekend,In real shallow water. And I also blew a tire on my boat trailer.I always thought my truck jack would work, but it didnt go up high enough. I was lucky two guys pulled over and helped me lift the trailer and boat,to slap on the spare.Im going to start posting pictures, once I get a little more used to computer.

To be completely honest the last couple of weeks has been red, snook, and flounder fishing I've caught plenty for several meals, as in about 4 dinners, with leftovers Two weekends ago I hung about a 7lber, and several 1-3lbers when we fished the Saint Johns river, and a lake off of it. The weekend before that I hung about a 6lber Both were caught on spinnerbaits for the record, Chart/Wht small colorado in silver, with a larger willow leaf in gold. So yes the fish are still big down here, but I still say it's tougher to get quantities on the larger bodies of water Ponds just aren't much of a effort to catch bass out of IMO. Anytime you want to come down let me know, I can now take you out to catch Bass, Refish(not as easy but man do they fight much better than Bass), flounder, and snook. I never catch a lot of saltwater stuff, but when you hook into one decent one it's well worth it.
