Default Tried out my new Zillion

I started today out by getting up and I thought I was going to go piddle on a job i've been working on till I saw that beautiful thing that is an overcast sky. I haven't been real enthusiastic about going fishing lately due to my reel constantly slipping so this morning I picked up a Daiwa Zillion . I LOVE THIS REEL! Super smooth. And it turned out to be a decent fish catching day as well. Here are some of the results from a neighbor hood pond.

This is the second time I caught this fella.

All on white or white and char spinners. I was suprised to find the fish had a good bit of fight with the water being so cold. Well, the bug is back, I can't wait to get back out there.

The Zillion is an amazing reel. I've fished with my dad's, even though the handle is on the wrong side. I told him if he wants to give it to me, I'll learn to fish right handed.

Nice fish too.

Haha, i'm right handed but fish with a lefty. Never wanted to waste time moving the pole from hand to hand.

I'm also right handed, and fish lefty. I learned that way from my dad.

He fishes a spinning reel that, and that was what Iwas taught on before we used baitcasters. When I got into them, I got a lefty, and when he got into them, he decided he fishes them right handed....

I don't get it either.

i have both style baitcasters, left and right, once you learn, you can not tell the difference in which hand you are using...and it comes in helpful when fishing in tight cover where you can onle cast, reel, and set a hook in one direction....
