Default Airrus Rod Order

I tried to order an Airrus rod a couple of days ago. Ken said I could get a discount. I said what I wanted and that rod was out of stock! They said they couldn't get it until late AUGUST! I was angry!

Looks like that St.Croix Avid is mine.

I can't in good faith recommend an Airrus anymore, around the 14th, Ken left the company, and Castaway is in the drivers seat now. No more Ken, no more board discount. Heck, I had ordered another rod the 13th from Ken, and didn't get the discount.

That being said, I still think the rods are top notch, but upon hearing they're still having problems with getting the Pulsars, as well as dropping the Spectra line, I went to a custom builder to get what I need.

Good luck with your rod, Joolz, I've never used a St. Croix, but have heard good things about them. I'm loving the custom route though, the first one I ordered was so fun I might pick another one payday!

That's too bad to hear. I've bought one Airrus rod from Ken and he was nothing but first class all the way. Excellent product and excellent service but apparently that has changed.

Yeah. Too bad so sad. Bad timing. But I'm not sure if any rod can beat the St.Croix Avid I just got. Its AWESOME.
I'll post pics of fish landed with it tomorrow.
