Hudson River Bass?
Hey guys. Before I leave tomarrow to visit my unlce in New York, I just wanted to know if anyone has fished the hudson river? or if there even bass in the hudson river. He lives in a small town called Kingston, and is right on the river. From what I remember, there are surface weeds along the shore near him, so I'm taking my Flippin' Stick / Frog rod and jigs and frogs.
I'll be fishing from shore and don't want too much gear, so any ideas? if you don't know, the water is... well... lets just say, not the clearest. I hope I can catch something after the eleven hours drive out there. Thanks guys, BB

Hudson river holds largemouth and smallmouth. The water hyacinths are 9-12' deep and hold big bass. Throw those frogs over the grass and hold on when you hook up a good fish. If they don't come up then go down through and get them. Have fun.
