Mac has been granted an experimental program from the Tennessee Wildlife Resource agency to plant these fish attractors.They plan on planting them in 8 ft. of water on flats near channels and tucked in coves. The 8 ft. was a requirement of the Agency so the shocker boats could use them to take surveys to gain information for their studies. If they find that they work, then further planting in unrestricted depths and areas will be conducted. P N J

The fellow at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency was very positive and was enthusiastic about my attractor/spawning station design. Thanks again for posting the diagram for me.

looks like a great idea. i know of a few places on grand that could use a handfull of these things..........several places on table rock as well.

On another board some of the posts suggest stacking two or three to create a tree effect for deeper water plantings. I also added making a single one taller, say 4 feet tall and adding long strips of staggered black visqueen plastic that would wave back and forth occasionally emulating weed growth...the black strips would be cut in a wavy icicle type pattern. For now, due to the 8 foot deep regulation, I'll be content to keep them as shown. Thanks for your interest, Mac

For the lid , in the christmas section at walmart they have live christmas tree tubs on sale for 1.74..

I dont know if this would be something that you would be interested or familiar with C-Rig but they hold a get together called rush for brush and it is held sometime in May and it is held below the damn at Disney just some FYI

Sorry hit the submit button to early.

But they supply all of the suplies to make fish shelter and you are free to set them anywhere you want to on the lake or rivers connecting to Grand you can find more info on the GRDA website.

A fello just posted that fun noodle foam, suspended underwater, will eventually lose its floatation. We'll be using four smaller pieces of styrafoam glued under each lid rather than the noodle foam on the rope.
