milage test
went out on this fine day to "follow the leader" on highrock lake. and fish -of course -i followed boss man around. he was running that 519 ranger with a 115 merc. me with my lil ole stratos with that ity bity 50 horse yamaha.he would tell me were he was going to start fishing so i could catch up-please note my boat only does 35 wot while his does nearly 60 wot-we would turn on our gps only when the out boards were running. after holding my own back fishing him and "mr.wilson". they had 8 i caught 4 -zook n stein rules-in the end my gps read 35.8 miles, bossman's 35.7 miles. i had about a pint left in a 6 gallon tank -filled to the brim- he said he had 1/4 tank about 12 gallon left in his 48 gallon tank. we are going to work some team tourny's this year.
he said that we should practice with my boat and fish the tourny's in his boat. i have no problem with this. as the gas prices are over 2 bucks a gallon here i can't say as how i blame him. knowing that 115 merc likes high test only. zooker
