I have to go with Lizards for AOY-three double digit bass in a lifetime is a real accomplishment-three in one year is incredible.
Rookie of the year goes to Cranky. He came in not knowing the difference between a worm sinker and a worm hook but has dramatically improved in both knowledge and skill. Well done, both of you!

Liz for the AOY, cranky and ck for the younger team. Cranky went from not catching at all to quite knowledgable, and ck made himself a sweet canoe, and moved more into bass fishing. Reb and zook were the most helpful, flyrod and JB were the funniest, And there are a bunch of other people who made this place great.

I've been thinking about this since you posted it. Yes I caught some Hawgs, and yes I've learned a lot, but to me the angler of the year is someone who has spent tons of time on the water, and consistantly catches fish(just like the pro's angler of the year). You don't have to place 1st all the time, just be in the top 10 all the time. I got skunked a few times, and didn't perform as well as I would have liked all around. I appreciate all the props for me, but I would have to go with zooker, PNJ, and Rebasser as the co-anglers of the year. PNJ is definately handicapped with his location, and time he can actually fish for bass(at least we believe it when the bass season is closed LOL), and he continues to stay up to date with all the new baits/techniques. Rebasser has a little thing called a job he probably spends more time than most think with, yet continues to give out advice, and improve his own abilities, and zooker, well he'll fish in anything including but not limited to Hurricanes, snow storms, broken thumbs, whatever, and has gotten to be a better angler this year IMO. Yes I improved, but the consistantcy wasn't what I believe it should have been for me.

I fish so much, that I have carpel tunnel in both of my wrists. If you see gloves in a few of my pictures, that is what the gloves are for. |

Yeah, the docter said it is really rare, but intense daily fishing will do that I guess.
