pnj question..
i have been beating the 1/4oz pnj fairly quite a bit. i am having a problem keeping the fiber weed guard on the bait. i cut the weed guard but do not remove any. i have about 8 jigs with out weed guards. is this normal?? where can i find replacement weed guards?? what glue would you use to install them..
this fish knocked the weed guard off the bait.. zooker

You can buy more from Jann's, Barlows, or Stamina. If they are coming out that frequently, something is wrong. Are they all the same brand? If so, and it is one you like, I suggest a bit of epoxy around the weedguard before you fish it. I make my own jigs and don't have that problem. After I paint them I epoxy in place, and then coat the whole jig in epoxy...never had one come out. Or try Superglue Gel...works wonders on just about anything that is loose in my boat.

bassfanpa is right on the money. epoxy or superglue gel. I dont seem to have a problem with my weedguards coming out this way.

I would try another brand of jig, I have never had this problem.

Nice color of jig, and that bass looks like a albino LOL. No suggestions on the weedguard, the bait makers know more than me, I'd just buy new ones.
