Default OUCH!! the bait monkey bit me..

the bait monkey done got him a new set of teeth i tell ya.. i got a new combo-had to spend the over time money some how- that i think will really do well. i got a sirrus centuarian 6'6'' with the hybrid handle.. i found a good deal on a diawa procaster with 6.3:1 gear reel..

i loaded it with some 12 pound ande envy green. figure on using it for texas rigging the rod has great sensitivity..

It has mostly cork, but a little bit of something else in the handle (look in the pic.). It bit me a while back, and I bought a new setup, and 42$ worth of plastics.

I felt one at the store, and it felt awesome, I'm wondering though, if it would absorb any shock, therefore lessening the sensitivity? Although, I guess you would feel it near the trigger.

actually when palming the reel 2 fingers are actually on the blank where it is exposed near the trigger..
the heel of my hand rest on the foam...

I do the same thing with baitcaster, running the line between my thumb, and pointer finger. I dont use braid on a baitcaster, or else I would be in pieces......

Zooker is that your first Airrus? I have two and use them more than the St. Croix's now.

Im putting it on a 6'6'' MH Bass Pro GS IM6, and spooling it with 30# Stren Super Braid

yeah as pnj said it is the procaster 100h the 6.3:1 geared reel very smooth very reliable reel for about $60 bucks thou the design is old school and has a flat top..i prefure the old flat top style better than the new style team diawa z configuration.. this style fits better into my big hand than others..

All that money and no time to fish. Hopefully the bait monkey don't get greedy. You'll be working OT to pay him down. Oh wait that's what I do.
