KVD closing in on AOY
KVD is only 7 pts behind and closing fast. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Game over. KVD wins AOY. I figured Skeet was uncatchable. Congrats to KVD!

Bittersweet. I'm not a huge Skeet Reese fan, but I also feel sorry for him. How can someone have the BEST season anyone has ever had, and still not win AOY?
I really don't know if I like the new format. Although, like some have said, it's like the playoffs in every other sport (well except college football where there should be playoffs). |

Let's not forget Edwin Evers he fiinished 2nd ahead of Skeet Reese in AOY. Her had a great year also.
Also KVD's win (tournament) gave him 19 for his career, tied with Rick Clunn for all time in wins.

I was so ticked at the results I erased both last weeks and this weeks show from my DVR. If KVD was any type of sportsman he'd hand the trophy over to Reese. There's no way he should be able to come back from 150 pts behind in one tournament (four days, two bodies of water) and win AOY. Reese had built up that lead over 6 months to have it all taken away in one tournament. The scoring set him up to fail and that's wrong! That's what is wrong with ESPN and BASS. I'm glad there is new ownership and hopefully they change this system and go back to the way it's been done for over 40 years. If it wasn't broke.....

3d I feel the same way it is almost like they found a way to squeeze Kvd into the post season because he is the biggest name in the sport . My heart goes out to Skeet and his season it will be in the history books for sure

I'm with you 3d, it's ANGLER OF THE YEAR not ANGLER OF THE LAST 2 WEEKS.
