Default When you die...

Help the fish!

this is the copy of an email from NAFC.

What do you guys think? Very intersting idea.

"They're Going To Do What To Your Body After You Die?
"Because I love fishing and value natural resources, I'm going to be cremated and have my remains used to create a Reef Ball." This statement begs the following two questions:
  1. What's a Reef Ball?
  2. Why are anglers donating their dead bodies to this cause?
A Reef Ball is an artificial reef, designed for dropping into oceans to replace endangered coral reefs, which provide a home for millions of microorganisms and fish. Eternal Reefs is a company that lets individuals donate their cremated remains to create Reef Balls.

Eternal Reefs has placed nearly 1,000 memorial reefs on 16 different sites around the world. When donors' loved ones visit the sites, they see the reefs surrounded by life, from oysters to sponges to schools of fish.

"The
family is involved in making the reefs, so they develop a vested interest in the future of the marine environment," says Eternal Reefs CEO George Frankel. "When someone chooses to donate their remains to benefit an ecosystem like this, the typical sentiment of the family is not, 'They're gone,' but rather, 'Look at what they're doing now.' "

Visit EternalReefs.com to watch
various video features and to see if it might be right for you or a loved one."

I don't know if any of the links work though.
