The show is called Hooked on Bass... it was very good. Followed three stories, KVD on Oneida lake in NY, Mack Weakley and friends in Cali, and amateurs in a huge tourney on SAm Rayburn.

The 8 million mentioned was an actual prize offered for breaking the record, however after Mac and company foul hooked a 25lber the club rescinded the offer.

Overall, the show was well worth watching.

Yep I saw it a few weeks ago. It was a pretty cool show, but I expected some more new stuff even though it was mostly a compilation of stuff I've already seen.
