Default Five trips in four days

I had a bunch of trips last weekend. Some mixed fly / spin and one bubba style LGMouth trips. My regular Vista computer has decided to stop working so I am working on my back-up XP system. I should just use my MAC..
Thursday: I had a one person trip and he did well in spite of a huge storm in the first hour. We just found cover and ate ribs and chicken...

Friday I had a spin / fly combo with a probably the second best fly caster I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Long casts and pie plate accuracy made him deadly with the fly. The other gent on board was on leave from Turkey for one week. Great trip!!

Here you see the slup of a LGMouth!!!!

Home from Turkey our soldiers love to fish..

Saturday on a morning Tourny Tune up trip..

And this youngin at 77 was a blast to fish with..

Sat. evening was with two youngins who enjoyed some pullage from kitty's and Dad got into some LGMouth while the kids played on the boat..

Sunday evening and some well needed sleep we went after them again with a southern gent "Yall " and laid back style was killer on the fly.

Yall think he can fish?

On the fly too..

At them again in five days..

Looks like some good fishin.

CaptMike, do you ever get to do any fishing when you take clients out? I've read articles on saltwater guides that dont get to fish at all on fishing trips, wondering if it was the same for you? Or if you manage to wet a line?

My main focus is on the customer and I will show by example on occasion how to catch a fish. I average 1.5 fish per trip and about six casts.

But it is all about the customer.. Smiles and high fives make my day..

I used to have to stay at front of the boat and run the trolling motor but with the remote power drive Minn Kota I can cater better.

Looks like you had to leave the Mattawoman to find some fish (I recognize those bridge pilings ). What's up with that? We didn't leave enough for you during the Stren tournament? What'd we leave??? 2,100 bass over three days? Dumped them right there in the main channel for you too! All you need to do is find a grass edge and fish.

Something about fish just released just does not tickle my fancy. Jailbirds..

Besides the recent study by DNR says 94% of released LGMouth return to there catch area with in three days. Except those caught below the salt line (IE Nanjomoy).

The bridge was a teaching trip to show how to run the tide and work quick. Blue bird skies and 20 mph winds adjusted my teaching lesson a little.

You mean you don't run across the river and hit the rocks at LSP after a big tournament???
I understand, had the chance to fish Mattawomen w/ Charlie last Sunday and decided to fish elsewhere. Still had a good day. Testing a jig (S&W) that I received from a pro last week. Worked well as I caught a limit on it.
