Hey just a suggestion, stick with dark colored print, preferably black. makes it much easier for us to read.

Before I go any further, you need to understand there are two different kinds of superline, which a lot of people (incorrectly) refer to as braid. There is fused line (Like Fireline or Microfuse) and then there are actual braided lines, like Power Pro, Sufix Braid, Fireline Braid, spiderwire braid, etc. I'd definately recommend a braided line over a fused.

And when you say colored braid, do you mean other than green? If so, most brands make some sort of high-vis color, normally yellow. I'd recommend Sufix Performance braid or Power Pro. I prefer to use the Moss green colors, but to each his own. the only reason I tried Sufix braid was their money back garuntee on it. If you don't like it, send it back and they'll give you your money back.

Ya, do you mean like anything other than green? Cause Power pro I know makes red and yellow.

I primarily stick to green on everything except my frog rod. I like to use Red on that rod because it helps me see the line on the casts into heavy weeds and pads.

I don't think I've ever seen black or tan. Well except the old black Dacron line. I do believe Power Pro makes a white braid though. I forgot about that.
