i titatly agree ron. bama/notre dame then florida vs oregon, then georgia vs k state and so on. ohio state of ocurse is on probation or else THEY would be playing notre dame. form what i have seen the bowl games are WHACK this year.

Any matchup would work 1 vs 12-----2 vs 11-----3 vs 10 and so forth. Could be some great games.

Every year at this time we are all saying there needs to be a playoff system in the BCS because there is always at least one matchup that makes no sense at all. This year Georgia gets screwed out of a BCS game after playing for a trip to the National Championship. I wonder what bowl game Alabama would have played in if Georgia spiked the ball lastnight and took two shots in the endzone?

The 2014-15 season is suppose to be the beginning of the playoff's for college ball. I was watching the BCS Bowl selection show earlier on ESPN and there are some crazy match ups for the Bowl Games.

Carolina you're absolutely right....

Look at the (if memory serves me correctly) Florida and Louisville match up. Not saying Louisville doesn't have a chance. How are you going to put the No. 4 team against the No. 21 team? If I was Florida I'd feel a little robbed...

Not to slight any team or fan of any team, but some of the bowl pairings this year are crazy! I know a lot is dictated by conference match ups, but seriously. Ron, all your matchups look good to me. And make a lot of sense. I think Florida State is playing Northern Illinois. HUH??? Wisconsin VS Standford in the Rose Bowl should be a good matchup. And I like Oregon VS Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl too. Georgia VS Nebraska? After this weekend, I can't imagine anyone from Lincoln even showing up. The LSU and Clemson matchup should be a good game though. Personally, I think there are way too many bowl games. Getting to a bowl game was once something special meant for the better teams. But I heard even Purdue is going to some obscure bowl. Purdue? Really?

Keith those aren't my matchups. That's the current AP poll. I'll be glad when the playoff system comes about next year. It will need to be tweaked for a few years but they will get right.

That being said GO IRISH!!!!!

They still aren't sure how the playoff teams will be selected. Such as will it go by ranking or conference champions only. If it's by rankings, it will only benefit the SEC even more. I'm fine with that. Roll Tide!
