I catch some very nice crappie every spring on a blue an silver shad rap with a orange belly.

I can't seem to imagine a crappie eating up an x-rap or any 3" lures and above. That would have to be one big crappie, otherwise their mouthes can sure open up wide!

FF caught one on a 5 inch senko today... only fish caught but we only fished for 35 minutes. it was 14 inches.
