Zooker Update

I got a call from Zooker's mom today. He is getting better as of today. Shingles are still annoying. But he is getting better she told me. GOD bless that little lady, very nice and a wonderful mother. Zooer asked her to call me and to to ask for others to call him as well. If he doesn't answer, it is because he is on morphine and sleeping. But he WANTS to talk to us all, hahaha. So keep trying when you are able. I will give you his number in his room if you are interested. He is probably more stir crazy than us right now. Yes even more than you snow bound folks too. He HAS to stay in his bed 24/7. So call him and send him some cards, funny ones his mom said. He likes the funny ones alot and it helps him out more she said. She said if he gets one that is funny...he does better. Figure that one out huh? Hahahaha. Yeah, i bet he would even like some that are a little on the dirty side too.
Anyway, call him up gang. He is waiting for us. I am tomorrow.

I just got off the phone with Zooker. He's got a tv in his room to watch the game. I didn't talk to him long as he was obviously very worn out and keeping a coversation going appeared to be taking a toll on him. But friends, he needs our prayers and all the encouragement we can give the big guy. He was rather down today and expressed he wasnt sure he was gonna make it this time. So be sure to say a prayer for him, write him a letter or give him a quick call just to let him know he isn't forgotten.

Talked to ZOOKER today. He is NOT given up keith, he is so hyped up on morphine, he really doesn't know what oyu or me or anyone is saying, lol. He is just TIRED of this gang, The shingles are driving him nuts, along with having to stay in his room except to use the restroom. He most likely did not understand what you were saying. We didn't talk but for around 5 mins, he was getting another shot of morphine as we spoke. Said he tried to "peel" a mountain dew can cause he thought it was a candy bar. I told him it was cool, to go back to his "trip" and enjoy it. He laughed, so i know he ain't giving up. Keep the calls and cards and notes and prayers coming to him gang. AND if oyu happen to be near him, go and SEE him in person. That will REALLY pick up his spirits. If i was closer or had enough vacation time, i would, still might try it.
He drifted off to sleep smiling i know.

Just talked to him. He is pretty doped up but seemed to be in good spirits. And he is definitely getting tired of this.
