I have found my Triton runs a lot smoother if I add water to the livewells as soon as I put in.
May slow me down a couple of MPH but better than all that wobble .
Besides , I never caught a bass going 60+ mph.
hahahahahhaha

Thanks EVERYONE......
I have been learning so much and as of late I took it back to the dealer for the trolling motor alignment. The indicator didn't line up so I felt for the price I paid for the boat, they should fix it. Anyhow, as I was talking to the rep he informed me that no, NO after market stuff. Prop torque was something I learned about. So for now I am just going to slow it down and really get to learn my boat. But I will admit, there is just something so exhilerating about getting off work and taking a ten minute ride to drop you boat in the nearest lake and let it all out.

I was told that with some things you lose holeshot. What is holeshot?

Oh, yeah when its just me and the boat.. and I am in the cockpit
and I think of how hard I work and how much I give to my family
and this one thing is what I have been blessed to have.. it makes me
feel good. It really does and at that point I just slow down and keep
it about 45mph and just ride.

hole shot is the time it takes to go from dead still to on plane. the faster you acceive plane the faster the hole shot..

Thanks guys,
I am going to take everything out the boat the next time to see if I have too much stuff. I did talk to a guy at the coperate office who talk to the service dept to check on the issue of steering and maybe its prop torque.

I have a manual jackplate that is six and a half inches and a tempest plus 25 pitch prop. The coperate guys were great at triton and are a pleasure to speak with.

Thanks to you guys, I really appreciate the help.
There aren't many people in the world these days willing to lend a helping hand to a stranger.
