Default getting them deep

fishing this morning on badin was a differant breed of beast. water temps were 82+ and water was stained. it rained 4+" last night, the lake level friday at 4pm was down 1.8 feet this morning at 2:30am was .3 above full. no top water bites -not even a swirl-put the horny toad up after day light got out the c-rig i hate the rig.. 12" blue/black worm caught 2 on hump drops in 8-12 feet. i cranked the humps with a dt16 and a norman dd22 and got squat.after the sun got up i hit deep fast drops-do i know this lake or what-1/2oz gaunja colored rattle back jig with matching super chunk swimming trailer got me 4 bass- 2 keepers- and 2 brim. the biggest keeper coming in 22 feet of water just as i went to pick it up. i was pitching to shore. the bites were very very light just tentsion. they never tryied to run till the hook set just sat there..

ya i know zooker and jigs don't sound right but hey if it works do it..

They seem to be off the flats around here and down pretty deep too. I am heading out tomorrow morning, going to try jigs and drop-shot.
Is that the first time this year you have used something other than the horny toads?

Nice to hear from ya zooker!
We've been hitting them on 20 ft deep points with the tube, 16-20 foot range, 1/4 ounce jig with green/brown moss 3" tubes
