Default Tournament Postponed

Our tournament Saturday has been postponed due to fog. The blast off was moved back an hour to 7:30 but it was still too foggy to see well enough so they finally decided to postpone the tourney. It was 32 degrees and the wind was blowing 15-25 mph. It was also snowing. I was ready to grind it out but I'm glad they called it after all. Here are a couple pics before it got worse and was called. My next tourney will be May 5th.

7 rods on the deck, you were ready weren't you. That fog is like a perfect first date that ends up back at your place only to get interrupted by a ringing cell phone when you think you're "in".

Nice pics though. Really captured the event. Go get 'em next month.

that fog would be a clear day for the ohio river tourney rofl
they will almost always wait till 9 or 10 till it burns off to blast off...
better luck next time...its easy to get lost on any lake when its foggy.
I've been in two tourneys that they let us go on time, in the fog, its a nightmare!

7 rods, hey that looks like my boat in the mornings.
Granted, after half the day I might have 10 or more on the front deck !

Actually there's 8 rods on the deck with about 8 or 9 more in the lockers! LOL

JB... it got a little worse after I took the pictures. At 7:30 if they would have sent us out we probably wouldn't have gone over 25 mph. We were only going to run less than a mile to our first spot. Pretty easy to get to.

I remember several BFL's I fished that we blasted off with worse fog than that, not just on the Ohio river. I must admit a couple of times I was scared ----less with the boater running WOT into some of the fog, and I having no idea where we are going, let alone what's in front of us. At least it will be warmer the next time you fish the tourney LOL.
