Bought it from FLW / BASS Pro Aaron Hastings. The only thing close on the Gator website is $215. This one was custom made for Aaron. Only two made (Aaron kept one) 7'6" MH 1 piece. Mike scolded me for buying it until he held in and his tune (and facial expression) changed. Sweet. Also bought a 2008 ABU Garcia EXT from Aaron, $45.

I also use a Castaway HG40 Jig and Worm, that is 6' 10" H.

Good rod.. and I counter weighted it to lighten it.

My Castaway Jig and worm is telescopic. I had heard that there were not many manufacturers mading telescopic rods in those lengths.

I use a 7'5" H Mossyback and a 7' MH St. Croix Premiere both are fast. The Loomis is used for flipping heavy weights, 3/4 to 1 oz, and the St. Croix is used for 1/4 to 1/2 oz weights. Both are used for plastics. I have a seperate jig rod.

Why the red Ppro?

Any reason you use that rather than the green?

I use a 7'6" MH custom built rod for flippin' and pitchin'. I know I should probably use a shorter rod for pitching but Ican't afford another rod at the moment...

bassboss may be uses red so he cam watch his line better. After fishing a bit with the green on my Dropshot rod, I'm thinking of switching to the yellow or the new different colored metered line... It doesn't matter if you've got a leader..

I'm a line watcher; the red line puts less strain on my mid life eyes.

I use two Kistler LTA's 7'-0" rods (HE70HC), both have Shimano Castaic reels. One usually has a jig the other a plastic creature bait as a follow up. I also have a Kistler 7'-6" LTA but use that mostly for throwing frogs. It can be used if I have to punch heavy mats, which isn't very oftern.
