I've been throwing the clear chug bug for years, they came out with it after zell rowland made a big splash with his own version of the popR

I was tossing one around last week, but didn't get any strikes. I seem to have better luck with the torpedo or poppers. I did find a brand new chrome and black chugger hangin in a tree back in February, I'll have to give it a try sometime soon.

I have a shad colored chugpug that I got last year as my first top water. Once I practiced the technique and got my presentation right, it did get some hits. I'd definently recommend em.

My best bass to date came of a Chug Bug. It was 25" long and weighed just over 8lbs. It's my next favorite topwater to a buzzbait!

My favourite topwater. The hot frog colour is excellent for smallmouth. If they are reluctant to take the regular size then try the baby. Guaranteed fish getter!
