need more information, lake sounds familiar but could not find it on a map.if it is fished heavily, then something unusual or something that looks similiar to their main forage, but till you give more info, cant tell you to much

I hope this helps you, At both forks of the lake there is alot of wood cover, the deepest part of the lake is about 40-45ft. At the points with the wood cover the depth is about 15-25ft. There is a little wood and weed cover in all the coves in the whole lake but not very much.

Take a dropshot rig and fish it on the points and fish a 1/4th once brass and glass rig on the points and shake it. Just got back from fishing and got 4 off point ends with a little brush on them. Try the dam also. I would look for rockpiles or parallel the riprap with a crank or shakeyhead rigged worm.

if it was a little earlier in the fall,i would most likely throw a wheightless worm like a senko or something onsome of those shallow points.now they will be quite deeper.how cold is up there, i heard it was snowin the otherday, maybe a slow moving jig in some deeper water,if it starts to warm up a little,a spinnerbait would do the trick.

Try a DT crankbait if your water is slightly stained. If its clear throw a brass and glass worm or other bait and just shake it as long as you can without pulling the bait too far. You just want to get the crank down to hitting the bottom and reel it along slowly.

Hey Fishnboy! Get around those 15 to 25ft dphs where there is wood and get the biggest and badest worm you have, 10 inches if you have it, rig it 4.0 hook tex w/ a 1/4 bullet wt and fish the wood verry slow. Because I know it is cold there now and he is waiting under one of those logs for that big worm. Give it a try. Then let us know how much that bad boy weighs. Good luck.
