Default Never thought I'd hear me say it but...

...MY FISHING GOT RAINED OUT!

2.25 inches since late yesterday!

Caught a 17 in smallie before the lightning convinced me to stop fishing though.

Y'all needed that rain. Most of the guys over on the roughfish.com boards are in Minnesota & Wisconsin, and the summer has been filled with their horrific narratives of piscine destruction (fish kills), brought on by the temperatures.

A few years ago I heard a story about lightning, where a father was fishing with his son and stayed out there. After a strike hit the boat, the father was left to pick up the peices of his sons skull. That image is what I think of when Im out there, and it starts lightning.
