Need Help Fishing Murky Algae Water
I am trying to fish a lake in PA with very green algae water. I lose site of
the lure within 8 inches of the surface. None of the plastics seem to work in any color. The only thing I have had luck with are buzzbaits and Rattletrap both in chart. Fish are now suspended between 4 to 9 feet. Water surface temp is about 79 deg. |

Run a spinnerbait down there in about 5 ft. in chartreuse or black and some crankbaits that reach that depth.

I forgot about spinerbaits but I did try crankbaits without any luck. One of the
buzzbaits that really worked there is the hartbeater double blade both in charteuse and red. Do you think I should use colorado blades only on the spinerbaits? |

Put a rattle in the plastics, and use a Pig-N-Jig. Use plastics that move a lot of water, like zipper worms, and Lizards. Also try a c-rig on a shorter leader.
Lizards
