I've got a friend who fishes them on a regular basis and swears by them.

Thumbs down

Yes I must admit they are really good looking lures---the problem is the cheapest I've seen them is $19.95. Thats a steep price for a lure IMHO and I think I would have to see the true value of that lure before I invest that kind of cash for a lure . I know that we all dump more than $20 each time we go into a tackle shop or order from Cabela's or Bass Pro---however there's a lot more merchandise for that money than one lure. Admittedly it is well made and quite realistic---I am sure the mould development cost a good buck---still----NAH---

Wow those look amazing - the monkey is all over my back on this one, but I've got to agree with Bubbah that is a steep price for me... Then again if it catches fish...AHH THE MONKEY...

I bought one of the Ultimate Bluegills on a strong impulse. Those lures look 99.9% like a bluegill and are super soft. True works of art. I've only used it once for about 10 casts just to see what it did. Definitely the coolest bait in my box. Kind of scared to use it because it cost so much, but I'll definitely break it out here once the fish really start cruising the spawning areas. If nothing else, it's something to show off to your friends when they drop by.

Luresaver splitrings!!!

more and more companies are producing realistic, labor intensive lures. Spending that little bit of extra cash and having somethign truly unique, rather than 5 mediocre baits might mean a bite versus no bite!

Got his Baby bass, nice bait

Dang that hurts, doesn't it? I got smacked with a Mann's Jelly worm that left a backwards MANNS on the side of my face many moons ago.

That is one realistic looking lure. Maybe I should pick up one in a bass pattern. That way, if I get skunked, I could take a picture of the lure and no one would know the difference. So for 20 bucks I could keep my pride.

Default Three hits in 1/2 hour.

Caught 2, lost the biggest one. Single hook just won't due. It has a place for a trebble on the bottom. Caught both bites after installing it. Found out later that the manufacturer recommends gluing points where hook, and eyes protrude from lure. Matt from Matt lures seems like a stand up guy. Has offered a replacement for my torn one. That is more than I expected.

My GF bought me one for easter. It looks awesome. I put a good treble on the front and have put lube on it. I still need to reinforce the metal parts that protrude through the plastic before i use it.

I only have the baby bass, was thinking of placing it on the little slot on the bottom for the treble, never looked to see if the 'gill has that little nifty feature or not!
