Default UV lights and Braided line

Any suggestions on a brand of braid that will show up under a UV Headlamp? I use Power Pro Yellow and love the stuff. But at night trying to watch my line I feel like a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat.
Someone told me white Tuff line will glow. Enyone have experience with this?

I fish a lot after dark and use black lights on the boat.

So far any white florecent line shines up nicely under the light.

I don't know about that brand or any other braided that comes flourescent. I do know you can buy flourescent markers, and just mark the line to get it to show up better. I use Trilene XL Flourescent in 12lb test for the stuff I need to watch my line. But since most of my fishing is topwater at night(CAN YOU SAY BOOM BABY) I don't worry to much about it being lit up, I just listen for the BOOM, and the the feel of the fish. If you do find a braid that is Flourescent please post it so I can get some too

Lizards,
I'm taking my UV light down to the local tackle shop to try and see if I can find a braid that'll work. Hopefully they'll have colors besides the standard green and smoke for me to test. As I'm sure you know, highly complicated scientific research such as this may take a while. LOL. I'll let you know what I find.

You ever try a bite buzzer. I have one that a sponsor sent me and the smallest line movement it detects. Might just need that so when you line starts to move the bite buzzer will go off

Fish On,
I've seen bait buzzers and I'm sure they'd work for still fishing with bait. I've found that no matter how sensitive the rod, I know I can't feel every bite or pickup. At night when fishing bottom lures, I fish on a semi slack line so I can watch for a "twitch" or line pick up. This is when I either feel for pressure or automatically set the hook. (depending on how aggressive the pickup) Thanks for the response.

if your talkin catfish, theres a easy solution.instead of fishin with a bobber or cork as we southerens like to call it,fish on the bottom with a heavy whieght.
keep the line tight i hold on to the line with your thunb and forfinger.fierline is not braided line but is very identical to the braid except it is very sensitive,im not sayin that braids arnt sensitive, its just that fireline is very, and i mean very sensitive.

Default Lizards....

Purchased some white Power Pro line with no luck. What I did was grabbed a yellow highlighter marker and with a razor blade, slit the tip right down the middle. As I was filling my spool, I slid the line into the slit and had my niece hold the marker against the line as I reeled. I colored the entire length minus 10 feet at the end. When hit with a UV light, it glows like a rope. So far so good for my night fishing needs and after 3 trips, it has yet to wash off. I use a 2 and a half foot floro leader attached to the braid with an albright knot. Hope this is useful.
