Looks like its a go for me too., Likely Wilson lake - not a great place to compete at but I figure I have a shot if the smallies turn on.

I think I am going t take a few practice days to learn the pond (new pond I have learned about) and then I am going to fish my day maybe tuesday, wednsday, or thursday..........

I'll be hitting my pond on Tuesday.......Forecast, sunny, high 88 low 68 winds w 5-10 mph.........For some reason this is great weather for fishing this pond.....I dont get it, but it really fires them up.

I will have a limit, i am almost positive, but the question is how big?.....lol

Don't be to anxious to prefish a pond. You can sore mouth those fish right before you go try to have your tourney. Ponds have a lot less fish, but a lot easy to locate. Oh yeah I'm in.

BTW, why the heck are all of these posts in the tips section

They should be in the message boards or fishing reports. I hadn't even checked this board for tourney info, it's TIPS, TRICKS, and TECHNIQUES

Doesn't look like I'm gonna get to go. I may go down to the pond and try from there but there's hardly a chance I could win there. A 15 in. fish down there is good, I'll have to hook into one of the 5 to 8 lbers that I catch every once in a while to have a shot.
