Default I need your opion on this bait

I would like to have your opion on this Spinner Bait which I will call Waking Thunder It is not yet avable as I am testing it But beforw I make it avable to you I want to know how often you wake a Spinner Bait thats what this bait is used for strickly waking but at slower speeds the Turbo Rattler is hinged so it moves freely thus causing the bait to stay at surface and wake without camping to the side as other spinner baits do at a fast retreve. I am not trying to sell this bait with this post so please dont call this SPAM I am looking for some intell from you the fishermen as to how often do you wake a spinner bait there is not to my knolage a Spinner Bait made just for waking so before I move forward with this bait I want to know how much you wake a spinner

Hey Jimmy, If you have an extra one of those next summer,I certainly would like to fish it for smallmouth here in NY.I would want it all chartruese with a chartruese willowleaf on it instead of a colorado. Burning that over the grass in the summer on Canandaigua lake has got smallmouth written all over it. P N J

ya all have no clue how close that looks to my girlfriend..

tr
i have used your bait quite a bit. but to be honest a willow blade would be more effective.. just thinking out loud here but less weight in the rattlers would help imo. it does wake quite well the wings/blades on the rattler adds lift i have had ZERO problems from the turbo rattlers. just like to see less weight either in the heads or in the rattlers..

no guys i don't know this guy. and was not asked/paid to post this.

tr it is STILL the best idea i have seen in spinner baits in a long time..

Nah, Jerry, we're bass fishermen. Same thing, I guess !

And welcome to the forum, both to you and Turbo!

TR, I'm with Zooker-I would think a willow leaf would work better. It looks to me like the rattler would disrupt the flow of water to the blade and a longer willow leaf blade would help that. (Zooker and I are both spinnetbait makers/tinkerers ). I like the idea, though-especially in muddy water.

Wouldn't a willow blade be a little long for the bait???? I'm talking about the relationship between the blade and the hook. I guess of course you would have to have a trailer hook. And it looks like you could only have one blade so a double willow is out.
We wake spinnerbaits on the Potomac all the time in the summer at lower tides. Of course it's also a good shallow water technique around wood on the river too. And sometimes slower is better (of course that's what she tells me).

Rebbasser, Certainly no need to apologize.I just had one of those days. I am sorry for trying to twist your post out of context.I chose yours because I could read it clearly without being confused.Zooker, I will apologize for trying to read your post, so I could twist it out of context.I anit sure what the hell you said there.Kind of along the lines of WTL's postings.Between those 1000 word postings and the big words he uses is where I began to have trouble and it just continues to go downhill from there. Hey can I use the pic of the chic for my packaging LOL Zooker I use both Willow and Colorado blades and No the Turbo Rattler does not take away from the action of the blade it adds to it I will post a video of this monster in action tomorrow. But I like the Colorado Blade more then the willow the Colorado gets the balls in the rattler really bouncing around creating more vibrations and sound this bait will wake at a slow roll retrieve and you can also burn it in

No JB this bait is not on our site yet we do have a spinnerbait on there but not this one As to when they will be ready Soon but I cant say when I need to become a sponsor on this site before I can advertise the sale of this lure. But please lets keep on the topic of this post WAKING I dont want this to become SPAM thats not what I am trying to do. Before I move froward I want to know how big the market is for a waking Spinner Bait there is not one made just for waking and I want as much info from you the fishermen as to How, where, when you wake a Spinner Bait and how often and differant areas of the country. I will have a video on this bait to show how slow it will wake so you can tell me if it is slower then you want or not slow enough.

personally, from my experience, i would MUCH rather have a bait like that be a bottom bait. I do a LOT of slow rolling spinners on old road beds etc, and this would be nice for that as well, actually perfect for it. If you made the jighead a 3/4 oz or 1oz to get it to the bottom, i could see myself really really taking advantage of it.

Now for the surface action, i agree, a willow blade would be preferred. they just seem to run the surface if your waking, a lot better than a colorado.

Great concept, i say run with it.

on a stand out type of lure like this the blade being longer will really have no effect on it's action until the leading edge of blade is even or past the hook. i tried this i know it don't work..
