Talking The best choice is...

Mac the best choice is going to be up to you! - the guys on here are loaded with knowledge - I'm not - the best way to find an answer for that question is to do a quick search using the search feature at the top of the page. some of the guys on here have written a lot about selecting equipment - But don't expect them to agree on any one best choice - they fight like two cats in a wet burlap bag over this kind of stuff!!

A bass pro combo I guess, although my sincere opinion would be spend a bit more, even if you had to save up the money for a while. After years of bassin, I do believe whole heartedly, the best way to go is with top of the line stuff, or as close to it as possible anyway. You can get some decent rods for about 55.00 and a decent reel for about 70.00, but if you spend more money, your going to get much better equipment that will really be worth it.

I use mostly AiRRUS Rods, and Shimano Curados, but they are fairly expensive. I guess it really depends on how much time on the water you spend and how much your budget can afford. Good Luck in any case....

The BPS Pro Qualifier reel, and rod package. I picked up a refurb at an AWESOME shop in Lake Wales, and it's amazing, The reel runs 100, and the rod runs 60, but I would definately recommend this combo, great setup!
