Just keep throwing it in places that you would normally fish the plastic worm,

eventually one will nail it, trust me

They are good in brown and greens, and target rocks if any are present....

what i do is a 3/16,or a1/4 oz lig head and stick in its body and make sure the jigs eye is on top.pop the eye out so that and the hook is the only thing showing. then
tie a clinch not and fish on,or well i would be saying that if some fish were biting
AND I CANT THEY JUST WONT,LAST YEAR I TRIED THEM ONCE AND I CAUGHT ONE KEPT FISHING AND DIDNT GET ANYTHING.THESE BAITS SUCK. THIER SUPPOSED TO THE NOST VERSATILE BAITS EVER MADE

One bit of advice...these baits are outstanding! When I first started fishing tubes, I never got bites either. Then it happened. I figured out that the slowed I crawled and hopped it off the bottom the better. I rig it on a 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook with a 1/4oz. insert weight. Fish it around strucure!!!!! It is not a good bait for trying to cover water!!!! Use it when you are flippin' or casting to areas where you believe bass are. Here's my favorite tube.

Man I love a tube. I'll use many different colors too. My brother and I tore em up on Kentucky Lake back in May on them. Mostly using green pumpkin and crawfish colors. My best bass with one is 7.5 lbs. on a gord green color. I like Mizmo tubes and Prowler. Use Strike King tubes a lot too. At KY Lake we were using 1/4 oz. lead head but I use the weighted inserts with a 3/0 EWG for flipping. They have such an erractic action... bass kill em. You can fish them weightless and work them like a jerkbait too. I fish them mostly in Spring and Fall. Good luck with them!

I'm in the same boat as some of y'all-I haven't caught diddly on a tube. HOWEVER: I threw a jig and pig literally for years before I started catching fish on them, and as good as tubes are I will keep throwing them. I've seen too many fish caught on them by other people not to throw them.

You´re not overweighting them nor rigging them wrong, so then it´s the location and/or the technique, have you ever felt while you´re retrieving them that there´s a lack of drag on the other end of your line after you hoped the bait, a sensation that the bait has dissapeared when you´re supposed to feel the bait falling ?

I hook a lot of fish on them but I lose a lot because I dont have the right size hook for the job. They work well for me but there are certain times and places to use them. If nothin hits the tube I stick with tiki's
