I got this on email this morning,

TEXTING FOR SENIORS

Since more and more Seniors are texting and tweeting there
appears to be a need for a STC (Senior Texting Code). If you
qualify for Senior Discounts this is the code for you.

Please pass this on to your CHILDREN and Grandchildren so
they can understand your texts.

Excellent post Ebbet... gonna let my Dad know about these. He cracks me up, because he is from that generation that never used computers... it takes him a year to type an e-mail. I would say he finds and pecks a key once every 3 seconds.

Hey: I am not better, the print is too small for texting, I do not understand all the abbreviations, any new electronic device I get , my daughter has to set up, I work in a job that requires computers but I have minimal computer skills , my kid sent me the Email, she has been bustin my balls b/c I will soon turn 60

Yeah, my Dad started drawing SS checks this month. I been givin him a hard time. He worked as a maintenance electrician in a factory for 35 years, so they didnt do much computer work.
