Bumble Bee Boats?
What do y'all know about bumble bee boats? I have an opportunity to get a 2005 pro v-line 18 w/150 merc for less than 10k. I tried to find the book value, but the NADA lists only the hull and doesn't list the motor or trailer..both of which are in great condition. I did use the search feature and some people say they are a little rough in big water... what about hull construction & durability? any help would be great as there is not a lot on the web about these

bumble bee is now owned by phoenix. i do belive that the new beeline uses the same hull as the old bee.
99.9% of bassboat hulls made after 2000 are all composite jobs,no wood. not sure about big water ride-where is there big water in maine?- i do know the new beeline like the old rumble bee has padded decks which are SWEET.. here is a link to beeline/phoenix site.. http://www.phoenixbassboats.com/index.html zooker

You have an excellent boat. I know the former Bumble Bee dealer near me and those boats are well built by what was a family owned business. Phoenix now owns the facility but their boats are a whole new design. The dealer near me wanted to sell Phoenix boats, but he has a small shop and Phoenix wanted him to carry boats on display. He owns a 21 ft Bumble Bee, which was his demonstrator.
