First trip out in the Laser
I have to say I am very happy with the Laser bass boat. Not only is it fast but it is stable. Don't know how well it will do in rough water as you can see in the pic.s not alot of chop on the lake...LOL...
On Sat. there was four of us on the boat and needless to say fishing was tight on the 19 footer. But I'm sure three could fish on it without any problems. Sun. however a friend from work and myself fished for a few hours through rain and stiff wind at times and done alright. We put in shortly after daylight (around 7:00am) and made a short run from the dam to a long main lake point I found sat to start the day. It turned out to be a good idea!!! First fish of the day(5.18lbs)!!!! Caught a few dinks after that and this toothy critter Had to have my friend back by 12:00 so only got to fish for a little while but hoping to get it out on another lake this weekend. DJ |

That is living right there! best of luck with that new ride... What did the toothy guy hit? we got our share of those up here and I never catch 'em on purpose, but they sure are a surprise when they show up!

Both came on a Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap Crome/blue back with red hooks and red spots on the bait around the gills. I will post a pic. of the bait when I get a chance. Well whats left of it anyway...lol... The Musky ripped the front hook out of the bait and cracked it about half way back on the bait.

Yup they are hell on baits! I had a big northern pike crush a brand new pop-r this summer... One strike and it looked like I had owned that lure for 10 years!

Good ta see ya got it goin'. Your gonna like it! Ya gotta watch it though. It might act kinda funny sometimes. Like its tryin' ta shake that "refridgerator" off its tail J/K . You will be pleasently surprised on tha rough water handling I think. Good luck n be SAFE. Use tha kill switch lanyard..............T

I dont know ifn Ihave told ya or not but Laser's like props that have alot of stern left in them. Ifn ya can get with a prop guru around u somewhere or gimme a holler. Those botes with stock motors once they are set right will run off and leave most other botes. They like to run flat if ya have everything right.

It's Buckhorn Lake in Perry County, Kentucky. It was in a blown over tree on a main lake point in 9' of water, about a mile or so above the dam. DJ |
