A simple little tip that will save you time and money
I have had a lot of problems with my skirted baits like spinnerbaits and buzzbaits with the little rubberband on the skirts braking. It seems like after just a little use the rubber band holding the skirt rots and you end up with strips of rubber all over your tackle box or boat.

GR8 tip FNF.
You can purchase a roll of the stuff at the gardening section of your local Home Depot, it´s used for tying plants to stakes, the wire is slightly heavier than the one you find in the bread/garbage bag. |

I do mine with the smallest electrical ties. Its not as unobtrusive as the wire, but it sure is easy and you can use red ties to add a little color (which might not do anything).
