Lizard buzzbait combo idea?

So I've got me a pet bass I keep in a 60 gal tank, and when I can't got to the pond to get it minnows, I go outside and catch it a lizard or two, or three, or four, or five.... thing's a porker, it'll eat up to five 4 inchers at a time!

And for those who care they're called brown allies

Anyways, when I throw them into the tank.. they kick up a lot of water, and they kind of look like a buzzbait does on the water. So I got to thinking.. what if I took at 5 - 6" brown plastic lizard, took off the skirt on a buzzbait, and put on the lizard. To me it would seem like it would work really well. What do you guys think of it? Any try it before?
