Lol, that is so incredibly stupid! And yet I did something similar when I was about 12...


I guess you could call it molotov basketball. Me and my older brother filled a liter can up to the top with gasoline. Lit it on fire with a toilet paper fuse.

This was all right underneath our basketball goal. Anyways, it burned pretty good, but I wanted to see it explode - so I took a basketball and threw it at the burning liter of gas to knock it over. WHOOOSH!!!! A huge mushroom cloud engulfed the basketball goal, melting the plastic backboard. I actually somehow put a gas fire out with a hose then - dont ask me how. My older brother meanwhile hid in the bushes.

Yeah but I imagine you were not 12 inches from the "bomb" when you hit it with the ball. I like the guys comment before he even hits it. "Hey guys, tell me if I am on fire." Duh that should be your first clue NOT to do it.

Side note - I was taught by my brother in law about 2 years ago during the July 4th festivities how to make a sparkler bomb. I have to admit that it is pretty neat.

Naw, I was 10 feet away and it was still hot.

It was fun playing with gas, but I was way out in our huge backyard, it was a controlled situation.

I believe that's stupider than anything we ever did with fire.....Haha.....There's been lots of exploded cigarette lighters, some gas fires and lots of aerosol fires, but that clip was top notch

i heard on the radio where this guy was trying to check how much gas was in a can at night, so he decided to flick his bic and blew himself up. im pretty sure he survived though

No, he supposedly did this in the 60s before he became a drunk... He also managed to shoot his best friend in the back with a shotgun while drivin to a dove shoot.

I saw a guy check the tank of his crotch rocket with a lighter. Luckily the guy standing next to him knocked it out of his hand before the boom. Some people are just plain dumb.
