Well what kind of bait have you been using? I would go with a plastic worm rigged weightless. And if its low its probly clear so use a watermelon or tomato color worm.

welcome to the forum!

i like to use a watermelon red flake tiki stick wheightless in stained water,a red shad color works well too.and in clear water a pumkinseed red flake works good.in muddy forget the worm and use a spinnerbait with a big colorado blade,or maybe a firetiger
crank

Your problem may be more one of stealth than lure. Make sure to walk very litely. Try not to cast a shadow on the water and avoid bright colors. Dont make and overly fast or unnesassary movements that will call attention.Bass often feed near the shore so location and pesentation are important.Since it is a fish that is an opportunistic feeder it will lay in wait for the bait near concealing cover. You may be casting always from shallow to deep when a more paralell presentation is called for.

Good lures in rivers are in line spinners. Jerkbaits or stickbaits, 3 or 4 inch grubs on a lead heads can be deadly. Current makes a large difference. Fish2win

Today(september 18) i went to Rideau Canal at 5:00 Pm and i was there for 2hrs but i could not catch any Bass. The water that i fish is about 4 feet and is weedy, and i just use the grub(white, yellow, pumpkin and pink),however non of them sound to work for me.Actuelly i wanted to buy spinnerbaites and crankbaites and i am not sure that it is going to work because i am worried that they both get stuck through the grasses and weeds.Hence i nevermind it.Also i want to know is Fall a good season for fishing,if so when are the best times to do? I would be appreciated to you friends if you give me some new tips according to this information.
Thnaks very much.I am waiting for the answer.

yeah fall is a good time. i would go with a spinner bait more than a crank bait as it will come through the weeds better.

i fish a lot of low waters right now in ohio, and last night Sept. 19 i caught a 5.5 lber, throwing a topwater pop-r right along the side of a big moss bed. I love fishing topwaters all the way up through october here in ohio!!
