The ice is going to be off the pond I fish since it has been warm. Then again it's starting to rain tonight and for the next 3 or 4 days. All that nice clear water gone. Oh well, I don't care I'm going to fish in the rain. Gotta get rid of this cabin fever.

I know, here too! It's been raining no-stop since last night, the yard and ditches are starting to flood! My friend in 'Bama said that the lakes, ponds and creeks where like on big lake cause they where all connected, and the roads where like a river!

I can't believe I'm actually glad it's raining! But it's supposed to rain today, and both days this weekend. By next week, most of the ice should be gone.

It has rained here more this year than it has in over sixty years. The lakes have about 3 inches of visibility. My yard is like a sponge, you sink in when you walk across it. So my boat is stuck in the back yard. But it has been in the 60s the last few weeks.

Yep, hit a local pond today, although I did not catch a thing, it felt great to get out there and see a lure hit water instead of a snowbank... The pond i fished was high and muddy, very muddy, only about an inch of two or visibility. I'll be hittin some ponds the next couple of days, and hopefully you'll see something on the braggin' board!

Yep, bet it felt great just to be out there! We definitely need to take the emphasis off the monkey and onto the fish on that board. Good luck!

Well it started raining yesterday morning here in North Georgia and it's now 6:363 PM and it would appear that the most of it has finally moved out. My rain gauge showed 6.5". The
USGS lake level for Lake Allatoona shows a 5' rise since Wendesday evening, bringing it up to about 1.5' below summer pool. Bad part is that they will pull the plug and bring it back down to thier "planned" filling rate and suck the mud out of the river and into the main lake. Enough is enough, now!

Went fishing on a pond yesterday and caught a 2lber felt awesome. Went back to the same pond today and a fellow angler was getting rid of his cabin fever in the same spot I caught my fish at yesterday. Third cast he makes he gets a fish. I was close by so I waited to see how big the fish was......4.5lber. I just had to laugh. I was nice and took his picture for him with his camera phone.

P.S. It was raining when i went and raining now.

Well, it has been raining here off and on for 3 days now. It's been around 55 - 60 degrees durring the afternoons. I figured the ice surely must be close to gone now. On the small 3 acre ponds it is, but the larger lakes it's still ice shore to shore. But one can see it's breaking up and will be open soon. I can't wait!!!

Didn't rain here at all today but it was warm and windy all day long.
Just got back from the gas station and they had the window open, right next to the cashier. Always a good sign!
