Default Power-Finesse?

Well, anyone that has a subscription to bassmaster, will probably know what I'm talking about.

When I finished reading the article, I thought it was really cool, and I went out to put some power-finesse rigs on my reel. The noticed the article did not mention what kind of tackle to use?!

I'm wondering weather I should put this rig on my bait casting, or spinning rig? I'm thinking bait casting. I've got a tube-like bait (4.5" bait, soild body, 6 tenticals on the end of it) with a 1/4 jig head.

So, the questions.

1) What kind of tackle do you use, or do you think would be good to use, with power finesse fishing.

2) What do you guys think of it, and what are your favorite baits to use?

Thanks in advance!

I do use that theory when fishing grass, I use a drop shot rig on baitcating equipment with 15 pound P-line. I usually use a Powerbait worm in 7-10" or a brush hog. That article makes me think there is no wrong way to rig a bait or no wrong way to work a bait. The things we do on the water may feel stupid until we catch a fish on it or until a pro does it and writes an article in Bassmaster magazine. How many of us swam a jig before we read an article about it or was able to buy an actual swimming jig?
