We used to enjoy "The Rifleman" too. What sport did Chuck Really play?

John if you catch

an 8lb 4oz LM thats 132 oz...divided by 264 = 50%
a 12lb 6 oz fish equals 198 oz divided by 264 = 75%

Who really knows what it will take to win? I'm planning to just go fishing as much as I can in places that I KNOW hold double digit fish. Out of the 25 or so of us that are playing a couple won't pay and probably only 1/2 or less will bother posting any fish or face insurmountable "challenges" with a good picture.

Don't sweat the math if you get a good picture of the scale reading Jrob and stick I'm sure will be happy to calculate the %.

I'm fully expecting to get a call from you this spring or summer, they're doing some major remod's on the RR around here. I promise to put you on some quality fish! the rest is up to you>

I got a ? Does it have to be caught in state of residence as many would travel like on vacation and possibly catch one in sc or ga,of course percentage of that state would apply.

Correct, the state you caught it in would apply. If you know you're going out of state and will be fishing, let us know beforehand if possible.

I dunno think coldbasser could put up with me?
Might consider it if I had a spot to land at and the time and the money meaning slim chance.
Have considerable repairs to a home in ohio to do so taking wee bit of both time and $ up.
Currently hold ohio,tn,and alabama lic will have to get ky and ga as it is,maybe miss as want to fish the Tombigbee River at least once in my lifetime, for huge spots.
And have to get two new batteries for my 20 dollar boat,as worn out,but tired of the backseat.

Totally agree.

In Michigan, records can only be taken from public waters

Yup agree as well for over 20 years w.va record was in 9 lb range ,guy caught a 12 pder in a 1 dollar fee -(pay lake on private property) and they hopped all over it never will be broken again unless one hand raises it.Beat it all its a catch and release lake for bass even though a dollar charged as kept the others in check.DNR descended upon it now a worthless fishery-had never even heard of it prior.4lb plus crappie I saw caught out of twin lakes pay lake in huntington many years ago exceeded the record back then but naw didnt fly, bass shouldnt either.

Well guys I came to a cross roads. I could either pay the cost of participating, or pay to ride the fan bus down the Sheboygan and watch the Basketball team play and hopefully advance into the WIAA play-offs. We gotta great team this year, and gotta good chance of going to state. I got allot of friends on the team, and allot that are going as well.

So unfortunately I'm gonna have to sit this one out fellas. If I come across some funds between now and the start date, I'm certainly pay. But that doesn't look to be the case as of now.

The stakes have certainly been upped this year.
I plan on spending as much time as possible on Crystal Lake.
Big LMs and SMs in that one

As much as I know it's killing you to sit this one out, your making the right choice Sammy. Your only going to be able to enjoy your high school years once. Take advantage of it buddy and go to that game! Thats the kind of memory from your youth you will enjoy for your lifetime. There is always next years contest here, but high school comes first for you right now.

We aren't supposed to make it much above 40 degrees until mid maybe even late March with 12-18 inches of snow on the way the next 2 days to pile on top of the 10 inches we got right before I left for the Classic. It could be a really slow start for me this year
