yes sir it is a section of the town of Manville.
the Raritan and Millstone rivers come together at the end on the town.
Hard to find a place to fish all the land is private need to find a legal place to park and hike along the rail road tracks to hit the water. Sometimes I had to park in the police station lot and hike about a mile or so to the water. Great place to fish.

At least 2 hours.
Parkway to 78 or 22
78 or 22 to Bound Brook to Manville
Perhaps faster if parkway to turnpike to 287 but not sure that way
I'll post again this weekend with better directions
heading for work

you used to be able to camp there now the have security taking rides through..too many 4 wheelers were going crazy down there.....drove a AWD jaguar over the train bridge from manville to bridgewater one night...we were blazing and decided to see how good a jag really is...it was a rental.if you go over the river and canal in manville on the causeway...follow canal road toward bound brook, you can park along the canal there's a footbridge takes you over to the other side of the new weir that the canoist drowned in a couple years ago after a flood.
i lived in manville 37 years...i know every millimeter of that asbestos ridden death trap of a town..formerly the asbestos capital of the world.(i still have family there)

Hope you didn't get hit by that stuff!
Jag over the bridge! I want to party with you!
I worked at National Starch for a few years, and a friend worked at the "chicken ranch"
Friend lived down the road from the church in the center of town
