Default Cabalas XMLti

Cabalas has a sale on these rods and I was looking for a deep crank rod. Has anybody used these rods? The model XMLtic7odc is on sale for $109.
My daughter is getting married next month so the price seems right. Any info would be helpful.

I havn't used the XMLti rod but I recently bought the regular XML rod. Two in fact, and I'm thrilled with both of them.

Never used them but I've got an XLM too! It's the best rod I've ever had, and the best I've ever handled... next to a cumara! I would give it a try, if the XML is that bad as* I'm sure the XMLt would be even better! Give it a try

I bought the "drop shot" 6'9" XMLti to use for wacky rigs. I really like it a lot, I'm using 20# yellow braid with a 10# fluoro leader and you can feel everything. The only downfall to this rod is the position of the hook keeper, it is right where I usually put my index finger on the blank. I have changed my grip since you have an open blank under the reel but I might still cut it off and file it down.
