Default Ultimate article?

Let's say you could read the perfect article in a magazine or on-line. Understanding that your selection might change as the season moves on or circumstances change, what would that article be about today? What pics or diagrams would make it even better?

I like carolina-rig-01's answer, but if it's an article pertaining to today it would have to do with fishing ice-out. For novices: pics or diagrams of a topo map showing which area of a lake should thaw first, and of course mentioning how the north and northeast areas of the lake warm the fastest, along with dark colored bottoms.

Of course I live in the North where even our shallowest ponds are still more than 90% frozen.

I'd love to read an article on how to get free fishing tackle. (not cheap stuff though)

I'd also like to see a good, thorough article explaining the proporties of depth finding units/sonars, especially the new SI System from Hummingbird and all the other bells and whistles out on the market today.

How about one on jigs and trailers? Especially custom trailers. Maybe talk to the custom makers about their uses, the guys that sell them, and maybe a big name pro or two? Sound like a good one?

Excellent stuff, guys! Thanks (Latinas...). I agree that there can never be enough info on graph reading, too. Everything else would make great stuff ( I can't get the Latinas out of my mind...). 3D- Done and soon. KL & Brauer.
(still thinking Latinas....)
