What do you think bout this...
Saw this listing pop up on Craigslist yesterday that peaked my interest:
http://dayton.craigslist.org/boa/1557061254.html I was just wondering what yall's views are on this boat. Anyone have a lot of experience with Cajuns? An email from the seller said that it is a Rajun 171 measuring 17' 11''. From the pics and a few emails with the seller, it sounds like it has been taken well care of.

I don't have much experience with Cajun boats. My grandpas cousin has one and likes it but that is about it for my experience with them. Ask Bama, he has a Cajun and can help you out a little I am sure.

Embrey, sounds like that means you think he's asking too much?

I wouldn't say its too much. I just got a really good steal on mine. of course, mines probably not in quite as good of shape as that one looks. Mine had some carpet damage from too much sun. I'd say its well worth 4500, give or take.

Well, wanted to go see the boat yesterday. Called the seller to see if we could set up a time and he already sold it. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

Rodnreel, don't let it get you down man. Before I found my boat, I was 100% positive I had found the boat I wanted. The guy actually sold it after I had made plans with him to go see it. He didn't even bother to let me know either. Boy am I glad I didn't get it now hah. It was a pretty fish'n'ski, but it would have sucked compared to what I have now.

Well, I didn't let it get me down too much. I was a little disappointed when I found out he sold it, but didn't have my heart set on that one boat. There's still plenty of time before spring rolls around for me to find the right one. Funny thing, I went through this same situation when I bought a car last summer. My old Honda Civic finally gave out on me and I was forced to look for a new one. Found a couple that I liked, but not at the price I liked. Eventually that one good deal came up and I jumped on it. I'm hoping the same thing happens with the boat!
