Tropical Storm/Hurricane Techniques
Well as some of you might know, parts of florida are under hurricane and tropical storm warnings and of course this means LOW PRESSURE! So what are some of your favorite low pressure windy rainy techniques? Thinking of throwing nothing but huge hard baits, 7" cranks, 8" plugs/buzzer (think gigantic devilshorse, 3/4"OZ spinners, 1 oz rattletraps. gonna be hard to cast anything little and light in the high winds and keep a good eye on the line. With the low pressure the bass should be feeding aggressively AND have an appetite so I am thinking large fast moving baits will be the ticket. I MIGHT let yall know how I do, gotta make sure I get back to the house first

The morning before hurricane Andrew hit LA I went out on the lake behind the house and murdered the fish on pretty much anything I threw. It was one of the best mornings I have ever fished, and was followed by one of the worst nights and 12 days I have ever had.

Oh I'm not scared of the wind...I just don't do as well historically when fishing high rivers as opposed to fishing low ones. I might not do so well if the suwannee gets up to flood stage, and if the storm stalls out in south GA that could be a problem.
But I'm glad yall are getting some rain.

Rob don't be fishing any Lucky Craft lures this week! The history with you and those lures...you'd end up with a snag in Daytona beach!
