Fish Finder Recommendations?

I've got an Eagle Mark 480 on my bow, and a Lowrance X47TX at the helm. Both seem to work well, especially the EM 480, but I've been itching to get something with GPS. (Translation = my fishing spot finding ability is so lame, I want to hold on to the spots I DO find

)

Anyone got any recommendations on a unit under $400 I could replace the X47TX with? I'm in Southern Indiana, and I'll probably spend 99.9% of my time in water less than 30 ft deep. Black and white LCD is fine, but I'd like to be able to use the chips with the maps on them (Navionics?) if possible.
