was talking hunting with a few of the guys i work with -all mexicans- they also hunt. but according to these guys. and they have no reason to lie about it. hunting in mexico is great if you can afford ammo.
they even gave examples which bout blew my mind.
22lr lead bullet 850 peso's-$85.00 per box of 50
12 gauge 2 3/4" 7.5 lead shot 900 peso's -$90.00-per box of 25
45acp full metal jacket 750 peso's-$75.00 per box of 50
7.62x39 softpoint -sks round-1500 peso's- thats $150.00 per box of 20
8mm soft point 200 grain bullet 890 peso's-$89.00 per box of 20
30-06 150 grain winchester 1750 peso's-$175.00 per box of 20
asked the next one just for the hell of it. they discussed it for a while and came up with this..
338 win mag. 225 grain bullet 3500 peso's -$350.00 per 10. ya have to order them a year in advance from the mexican army..
these guys were not joking they take hunting very seriosly.
i said "mexican army? no wonder no body is scared of them they can't afford to shoot any body.."
one of these guys was in the mexican army said that standard issue of ammo is 20 rounds PER MONTH.. to cover 2 guns..that inculds the mandatory practice section.

just remember this next time you are in a place that sells ammo.

oh yeah they said it is almost unheard of to buy a entire box of shells they tend to agree that 3-5 shot shells with a rubber band around them was common. same with the rest except pistol ammo it was in a zip lock bag-this is how it is sold there..

price based on currant exchage rate of 10 pesos =1 american dallor..

i had a friend that farmed with us a few years back..he was from austrailia...its the same way over there...he was amazed when i took him to wally world..

That's why anyone would be stupid to try to take over the Old USA, we all have guns(as in multiple) and have plenty of ammo. And since we can buy ammo we can practice, and are pretty good shots LOL.

Took the words out of my mouth............. I got maybe 17 or 18 guns in my house and ammo for every one...... Just hard making your mind up which one to shoot...........

Well being that I live in good ole redneckville guess I dont have to tell ya'll how I am with the guns. Evil snicker inserted. Just try and remove someting from my property without permission.Last thing you gonna see is a flash of light and a HEAVY feelin. More evil snickers.
