lake James
Has anybody fish Lake James NC ,going in a couple of weeks and trying to get some pointer as of what side linville or Canal Bridge ,what are they hittting spinner bait ,crank bait, artifical worm

i have found the catawaba side best. the linville side will leave you pulling you pullin your hair out in frustraion......
spinner baits white and blue small silver blades.. shakey heads in clear or icle.. small baits.. i have yet to find a crank that works... leave your braid at home the cat side has 10+ feet of vizability..linville over 40-no joke zooker

Do your self a favor find a different lake. That has to be one of the worst lakes in Nc

I'll be out there the week of the 25th..... Never been there, but am planning to throwing a short arm spinnerbait and a small crankbait.... all for the smallies!

I wont be tring that mud hole ever again. I wouldnt waste your gas to drive back there. That place is a joke and a poor excuse for a lake. I am ashamed to say it is in NC
