No not me.... some guys from Lexington VA fishin the James.

And it was released after confirmed at Greentop Tackle.

A flathead is more brownish and has longer whiskers. That is a blue catfish.

Maybe 15 years old.

Ahhh...sorry, I should have taken a few more seconds to look better at the photo. At that weight, their anatomy gets all mis-shapen out of water. Ugly brute.

Capt Mike is looking for one in the mid 60's on the Potomac River for the MD record. The James is a little further south and is in VA. I've seen the 94lb replica record caught down on Buggs. Here are is a brute at the BPS in Richmond that I'd estimate to be close to what he's hunting. Probably caught on the James too.

yeah flatheads dont get anywhere near as big as blue... that is a huge fish tho

That's one huge cat! they do catch some pretty nice nice flatheads. I've seen ones 60lbs i think.
